This 62-year-old has to constantly remind the young guys who stick to her on Tinder and Instagram: “I’m old enough to be your mom!” It’s all about her beautiful figure and amazing youthfulness. 

Sheila Kiss from Birmingham started fitness at the age of 30. And now, for more than half of her life, her training schedule has remained unchanged: six days a week, two hours a day. After the birth of her second child, Sheila took up sports with even greater zeal: aerobics, tennis and a lot of outdoor walks. 

“I regularly post my photos on the Internet to motivate other women, but most often young guys in their twenties write to me,” Sheila admits. And although their attention is quite pleasing, it has to be explained that Sheila is not at all suitable for the role of their girlfriend. 

Up to 60, the woman was an acting runway model in Australia and showed off youth clothing. It was only in the last couple of years that she decided to quit her career. 

– It’s always fun to wear things that may not suit your age and style, but you have to walk on the catwalk as if they were made especially for you. I always remind myself that I get paid to make the clothes look good on me, and now I continue to do so on my Instagram profile pages.

Now the woman lives in Bali and feels at most 40 years old. She is incredibly cheerful and flexible. Her page on the social network has 62 thousand subscribers, and their number is steadily growing. Among Sheila’s fans there are many young girls who dream of becoming like Kiss in the future. Indeed, before Sheila appeared, most were sure that a woman after 60 is a decrepit old woman. 

Sheila admits that she really enjoys breaking stereotypes. Today, any woman can look her best if she is not lazy and sincerely loves herself. 

It’s easiest to drop your hands and surrender. Everyone can do that. But you try to fight for youth and beauty! 

About strength training

When Sheila was younger, aerobics was in vogue, but the woman did not limit herself to them. She included strength training in the training plan and is sure that it is thanks to them that her body still maintains its elasticity and attractive shape. 

About nutrition and weight

As for weight, Sheila is sure that it does not affect beauty at all: “I never weigh myself and I do not count calories. Since my youth, I have a good appetite, I love delicious food. The only thing I do is never buy canned, cooked and frozen food. Everything I eat is fresh and natural. I do not believe that beauty is thinness, the body should be slim and healthy, and the muscles should be in good shape. I prefer the sporty type rather than the dystrophic one. “

About favorite activities

In addition, at the age of 50, Sheila became interested in bikram yoga (a set of exercises performed in a heated room) and continues to practice it to this day.

“Bikram helps me to be strong morally and physically and really helps me lose weight,” Sheila does not hide. – This is an hour and a half of yoga at a temperature of 41 degrees, can you imagine? Skin and muscles instantly become toned, get rid of toxins, just an excellent result! It is very important to remain flexible as you age, which is why yoga for the elderly is the most optimal activity. 

About age prejudices

At 50, Sheila felt better than at 30, thanks to the sport. 

– In the gym where I train, many people ask how old I am, amazed at how dashingly I handle apparatus and simulators, Sheila laughs. – Very young girls say: “I want to be like you when I get older!”, And it makes me happy. I believe that even though I am the oldest in the gym, I will lift the heaviest weights. Lifting weights helps you not gain weight, even if you are eating cakes. I never get sick and go to the doctor once a year to get tested and undergo regular examinations.

According to Sheila, every day without training is as unpleasant for her as if you spent it without brushing your teeth. Sport is as natural for a woman as morning procedures. 

Even when we travel a lot and do not have access to the gym, I will walk or run and fill and exercise kettlebell sand in beverage bottles. I am infinitely grateful to fate for my happy life and positive attitude, for my friends and interesting events that are happening to me. After all, life is given to us for pleasure and joy!
