Many gardeners do not like to use chemistry in their beds. We suggest proven ways to get rid of pests using herbal infusions.

Infusion: pour a third of a bucket of finely chopped fresh leaves with 10 liters of water and leave for 3 days. We filter. We apply immediately. The drug repels pests and destroys the wax coating on the eggs of moths and other butterflies, the eggs die. Sprayed in June-July at weekly intervals.

Husks and bulbs are used against aphids, orange and tobacco thrips, spider mites (on pumpkin), strawberry mites, apple sucker, comma-like scale insects, moths, herbivorous bugs, common earwigs, caterpillars of the scoop.

Infusion: Pour 200 g of onion husks with 10 liters of water, leave for 4-5 days, strain. Spray vegetables no more than 3 times every 5 days. To combat aphids, pour a quarter of a bucket of onion husks with 5 liters of hot water, leave for 2 hours, drain. Dilute XNUMX times before spraying.

To combat copperheads, pass 200-300 g of bulbs through a meat grinder, pour 10 liters of water, leave for 1-2 days. To protect against the apple moth, spray with any tincture every 7 days during the summer of butterflies, after sunset at an air temperature of at least + 15 ° C, for a month. Cut and hung onions (as they dry out, they must be replaced) in different places of the crowns of fruit and berry crops scare birds away.

Used for aphids, ticks, apple sucker, comma-shaped scabbard.

Infusion: Insist 50-100 g of crushed roots or 100-150 g of crushed leaves for 2-3 hours in warm water (2,5 liters not higher than + 40 ° C). Strain, apply immediately. Carry out the processing at least 3 times with an interval of 10-15 days (excluding the period of flowering and pollination).

Saves from aphids, thrips and openly living small caterpillars, larvae and other leaf-eating and sucking insects (moth, slugs, apple sucker, moth, raspberry-strawberry weevil).

Infusion: 250 g of fresh or 125 g of dried fruits of capsicum are insisted in 2,5 liters of water for at least 1-2 days. Strain. You can add 10 g of soap before spraying. Infusion of capsicum is also used for prophylaxis against pests, but 10 times less concentration. Repeat several times at intervals of 10-15 days.

Helps against aphids, bedbugs, thrips, onion flies, raspberry and currant moths, raspberry gall midge and flies, gooseberry moth and sawflies, currant glass, plum sawfly, apple honeydew, comma-shaped scabbard.

Infusion: 200 g of dry crushed flowering plants (you can fresh, but in larger quantities) insist in 0,5 liters of boiling water, after 30 minutes add 2,5 liters of warm water, leave for 2 days, drain. Add 10 g of soap before use.

Effective against aphids, ticks, orange and tobacco thrips, apple sucker, comma-shaped scabbard, gray rot of strawberries, late blight of potatoes and tomatoes, fusarium of gladioli.

Decoction: Chop 700 g of unpeeled onions, scald and cook for 2-3 hours in 10 liters of water. Dilute 1: 1 and water the beds at the rate of 0,5 liters per 1 sq. m every 6-7 days.

Infusion: grind the garlic bulbs, put in a bottle or jar, add water (1: 1), close tightly, leave for 8-10 days. For spraying, use 20-25 ml of tincture per 10 liters of water or 50 g of chopped garlic, pour 10 liters of water, stir, leave for 24 hours, strain and use.

For the prevention of late blight of tomatoes, spray with a 10% solution during the period of fruit setting on the second hand. Spray up to 5 times every 15-18 days.
