A violent cough helps to soften the mixture of ginger root and honey. To do this, peeled ginger is rubbed on a fine grater, mixed with honey, aged for at least 12 hours and consumed 3-4 times a day in a teaspoon.

Also, traditional medicine recommends using black radish for coughing. To obtain a healing infusion in the center of a large root crop, it is necessary to cut a hole so that it is not a through depression, fill it with honey and let it brew for at least 12 hours. You can use a teaspoon of juice that has been mixed with honey 3-4 times a day. This recipe will be able to help precisely with dry cough associated with bronchial diseases. Radish will not relieve asthmatic or allergic cough.

No less popular is the use of milk, in a glass of which a tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of glycerin are diluted. This mixture should be stirred before use and drunk a teaspoon at least 3 times a day.

Herbal remedies for coughs

An infusion of 1 tbsp will help reduce sore throat. l. fennel fruits, 4 tbsp. l. marshmallow rhizomes, 1 tbsp. l. licorice root, 2 tbsp. l. dry leaf of coltsfoot. A mixture of these herbs is brewed at the rate of 1 tbsp. l. 200 g of boiling water and in this form is kept in a water bath for a quarter of an hour. After that, it is infused for another hour, filtered, again brought to the volume of a glass and consumed at 30 g every two hours. Relief should come on the second day of admission.

A good effect is given by a decoction of green pine buds, a tablespoon of which must be poured with a glass of boiling water in a thermos and left for three hours. The broth should be taken in a tablespoon three times a day until complete relief. The only drawback of this recipe is its rather specific taste.
