Victoria Borovskaya has been teaching the audience about conscious training for several years already – fitness without pain, slimness without diets, health improvement of the body through movement.
Today Victoria shared with Healthy Food Near Me readers how to make fitness stress-free, but effective. Someone who likes to do it regularly.
Familiar phrases?
– I’m tired of training!
– There is only pain from training!
– I don’t want iron, I’ll be like a man!
– I do not want and cannot train for wear, I have no energy
– I don’t take care of myself, I don’t have time and the body suits me so far!
Alas, I increasingly hear similar statements and excuses, which in fact can speak of health problems. For example, iron deficiency anemia or fatigue adrenal syndrome. Of course, in such a state there is no time for fitness and self-care.
In general, many people would be good at first solving all their psychological problems or recovering, and then attack their bodies. But there is also a category that basically associates fitness with suffering and pain. About such and will be discussed.
Let me tell you right away: self-care does not involve violence. If someone likes to workout to crackle in their pants, then that’s their problem, but fitness should heal, not undermine the remnants of well-being.
It is important to set realistic goals related to the figure, and also understand that they are not achieved at the cost of health.
I had a period when I divided products into right / wrong, refused my favorite dishes, from meeting friends and going to restaurants. The coffee was only black, with one date for sweets. In training, I gave all my best that I simply did not want to do the rest, and skipping classes was for me tantamount to the end of the world. Over time, I realized that the pursuit of an ideal undermines my health, my self-confidence, my time.
Ideally, fitness, a healthy diet and an active lifestyle should help to reduce weight, body fat percentage, improve health (glucose level, blood profile), stress resistance, and self-confidence.
However, in reality, people find themselves in different situations and for the most part, for some reason, are left alone with injuries, an eating disorder, without achieving goals that seemed so attractive.
In order not to limit yourself in food, not to get hung up on sports, to stop hating yourself for the fact that you have a different appearance from the model, not to train to physical and mental exhaustion, to stop punishing yourself with additional activities and fasting days for each breakdown, you must first understand that fitness should be fun. Exercise can be healthier, look better, and improve strength, but you don’t have to sacrifice yourself.
- Avoid rigid restrictions, trendy diets, detox, so as not to provoke breakdowns;
- Stop complicating things. Working on yourself does not require as much sacrifice and torment as you thought;
- Take time and patience, plan your actions, do not try to cover everything at once. For real external and internal change, planning is important;
- Fall in love with fitness. Instead of exercising to the brink of exhaustion, learn to enjoy the activity. They can be effective in 25 minutes;
- Stop rewarding yourself with food and punishing yourself with fasting days and working out breaks through exercise. Remember, sports exist for the pleasure of overcoming their own capabilities, but you don’t need to do it before the blood from your eyes.
We should never forget that we are alone. No one will give us a spare organism under a warranty card, so you need to groom and cherish yourself:
- Walk the prescribed 10 steps in the fresh air;
- Do not neglect physical exercise (fitness, yoga, Pilates, boxing, dancing – whatever your heart desires!);
- Take a break from media and gadgets from time to time;
- Eat more whole foods, sources of protein and greens;
- Do not abuse sweets, canned food and processed meat products;
- Do not forget about neatness (take care of your teeth, wash clothes and take a shower on time);
- Meditate or just relax the mind in any accessible and pleasant way (knitting, swimming, walking);
- Get enough sleep;
- Visit your doctor regularly for preventive examinations.
There is a very fine line between lying on the couch and accepting yourself in your uniqueness, exercising a little every day to maintain your health and fitness levels, and putting on wear and tear to become like an unattainable ideal. Our task is to find this line in order to stay in harmony with ourselves and not harm our psyche. I hope my simple tips will help you figure out how to do this.
