Are you constantly sleepy? Instead of resisting it, relax and get the most out of your hibernation state. After all, now is just the right time to stock up on energy for active spring activity, and the most pleasant thing to do is in a dream.
For a night’s rest to be of maximum benefit, you need to properly prepare for it. The first stage is water procedures.
They are the best to help “wash away” the day’s worries and stress, and also promote a peaceful sleep, especially if you add a few drops of essential oil to the shower gel or bath foam (lavender or chamomile is best).
Remember that the water must be warm – too hot or too cold water can have the opposite effect, that is, overexcite the body.
The next stage of preparing for bed is a facial massage, you can easily do it yourself. Use this mixture: 2 tablespoons of sesame or olive oil, 1-2 drops of cinnamon oil, 2-3 drops of chamomile oil, 1-3 drops of sage oil.
The sequence of movements is as follows (each must be repeated at least 6 times):
Interlace your fingers and place them on your forehead. Then slowly disengage them and move from the center to the temples, tapping on your forehead with your fingertips.
Using gentle tapping movements, massage the area around the eyes, starting from the outer corners and moving to the inner corners through the brow ridges. When you get to the center of your eyebrows, press down on it with your thumbs and work your way up to the lower eyelid. Be very gentle, do not stretch your skin.
Place your thumbs under your cheekbones (roughly in line with the tip of your nose) and gently massage the points in circular motions for six seconds. Move gradually along the cheekbones towards the ears.
This massage not only strengthens the immune system, but is also effective in the fight against wrinkles, especially if you alternate essential oils with anti-aging and moisturizing creams.
To consolidate the effect of water treatments and massage:
Drink a cup of warm herbal tea, such as chamomile or mint, about an hour before bedtime to help keep you warm and calm. You can add a little milk, but try to do without sugar, even honey is better not to use.
When you go to bed, place a pillow on your chest and abdomen, and take several deep breaths and exhalations. Such a simple breathing exercise will allow you to relax better and quickly disconnect from daytime worries.
We wish you pleasant dreams!
