How to endure the mask all day?

The general public mask can be a formidable weapon in the fight against Covid-19, provided it is worn well and that everyone is wearing it. This mask either made of cloth or paper is useful in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus by droplets as well as by air.
As a reminder, a well-worn mask is a mask that covers the nose, mouth and chin. It must be changed every 4 hours because beyond that, it loses its effectiveness. Indeed, as soon as it becomes wet due to breathing, it no longer protects.
Some prefer it in fabric, others in paper, it’s up to you to choose the one in which you feel best! But even with a comfortable mask, it is sometimes difficult to wear it for a long time …
The mask gives me a headache
Headache is a phenomenon often mentioned by people who wear the mask for long hours. The mask itself doesn’t give a headache, but wearing it tends to drink less. You have probably noticed that after a while you have a dry mouth and a great urge to drink. Well the problem most likely comes from there! Dehydration is known to cause headaches. So drink more than usual and especially regularly to limit the onset of headaches.
The mask gives me skin problems
Our skin is not made to endure a mask all day. Rubbing with the mask can cause redness, pimples or even eczema or psoriasis. To limit these dermatological problems, clean your skin regularly with thermal water, use appropriate care and avoid make-up. If you are male and have a beard, shaving it off can be a solution. Be careful also with fabric masks, some components present in the textile can trigger allergies. If you are concerned, turn more to paper masks. If you still want to wear a fabric mask, always use cotton masks whose fabric is OEKO-TEX certified (this label guarantees the absence of harmful products).
I have trouble breathing with a mask
Breathing may be less evident when wearing a mask. A good mask should be a mask that protects but also needs to be comfortable. If you are having trouble breathing, your mask may not be suitable! To check this, do the spark plug test. Put on your mask and try to blow out a candle that you place in front of you. If it goes off, your mask is not filtering enough. On the other hand, if the flame does not move at all, your mask is probably too filtering. In this case, it is normal for you to have difficulty breathing. Try several to choose the one in which you feel best. If despite this the discomfort persists, try breathing more slowly with long inhales and slow exhalations. You can also take a break (by isolating yourself) to remove your mask for a few moments and regain a regular breathing rhythm. In addition, paper masks are known to be more comfortable than fabric masks in terms of breathing.
How to limit the fogging of the glasses?
Eyeglass wearers are well aware of this problem. To limit fogging, choose a mask with a small metal bar at the bridge of the nose and fold it well so that it conforms to the shape of your nose. Another trick is to wedge your mask under your glasses. Also remember to wash your glasses in soapy water. The soap will prevent the water molecules from fogging up. Otherwise, you can also invest in an anti-fog spray to apply to your glasses.
