How to dye fabric at home
If you do decide to use paint from a store, the easiest way to do this is with a washing machine. Always carefully read the instructions on the paint packaging and observe all proportions.
Immediately after dyeing in a typewriter, it is better not to wash white things so that they do not acquire an unnecessary shade.
Dilute the paint in water and pour it into the drum of the washing machine, put the cloth in the same place. Set the temperature between 60 and 80 ° C and turn on the longest cycle, however, it should be without pre-soaking. After finishing the wash, wash the fabric in water with added vinegar and run the empty machine again to clean it.
Regardless of whether you choose natural or commercial dye, it is best to test it first on a small and inconspicuous area of the fabric. So you will know exactly what shade will turn out and whether the material will deteriorate.
