how to do makeup

Pay attention to the light!

Try to do your makeup in the light you intend to show it in to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Don’t mistake the day for the night

Daytime makeup requires lighter, pastel tones, while evening makeup can be bolder with brighter tones (remember, evening makeup should be different for brightly lit and darkened spaces as well).

Place accents

When doing makeup, decide what exactly you want to highlight on your face – it should be either eyes or lips. By emphasizing both at the same time, you risk looking unnatural.

Don’t forget about hydration

Don’t wear makeup on clean skin. To begin with, it should be cleaned with milk, nourished with tonic and applied to a light daytime makeup cream.

Feel like a sculptor

It is worth remembering that light tones increase and expand facial features, while dark tones reduce and hide. Using this simple rule, you can easily correct the oval of the face, and the chin, and the nose, and cheekbones. Those parts that you would like to visually reduce or hide, “hide” under a darker tone, and those that you would like to emphasize – highlight with a lighter tone. Everything is very simple! The only thing is to make sure that the dark tones blend with the main tone of the face, without creating abrupt transitions.
