Excel has a tool that allows you to quickly set basic formatting options for inserted rows, columns, or cells. When you insert any of these elements, a small floating button appears next to it. Paste Options.
The button has a small brush on it. When you click on it, a set of tools appears for quickly formatting the inserted row, column or cell. Often this is very convenient, but sometimes the button gets in the way and even annoying. However, turning it off is very easy.
To disable a button Paste Options, open the tab File (Queue).
In the menu on the left, click Parameters (Options).
On the left side of the dialog box Excel options (Excel Options) click Additionally (Advanced).
In section Cut, copy and paste (Cut, copy, and paste) check the box Show paste options button when pasting content (Show Insert Options buttons).
Press OKto save changes and close the dialog Excel options (Excel Options).
After disabling the button Paste Options, You will still be able to format the inserted row, column, or cell. Just select it and right click on it. A mini toolbar will appear along with the context menu. Using the mini-toolbar, you can set the basic formatting options, and the context menu gives you access to various operations on the selected element.
If you disable the button Paste Options, when it already appears next to the row, column or cell just inserted, this button will remain in its place. The next time you insert a row, column, or cell, the button Paste Options will no longer appear.
