How to delete an account in Odnoklassniki: detailed instructions

Some users have old forgotten Odnoklassniki profiles that they want to delete, while others simply want to leave social networks. Trends tell how to delete an OK.RU account correctly

If a user decides to delete a profile in Odnoklassniki, then his personal information, photos, comments, ratings, correspondence with friends, groups, achievements in games and much more are erased.

You can restore a deleted profile only within six months (more precisely, 183 days), provided that it contained a phone number or email address. After deleting the old profile, the social network does not allow you to create a new one linked to the same phone number. To register a new account for the old phone number, you will have to wait six months from the moment the previous page was deleted.

Deleting an account in Odnoklassniki from a computer

In order to delete your profile in the web version of the site, you must:

• go to the page;
• click “Help” under the side menu of the account;
• find through the search section “How to delete your profile?”;
• click “Refuse services”;
• indicate the reason why you want to delete the profile;
• enter a password;
• click “Delete”.

Currently, the user cannot delete his profile through the mobile version of the site or the OK.RU application. The developers of the social network recommend that if there is no access to a computer, contact the support service. This can be done like this:

• open the menu, select the “Help” item;
• select “My profile” and “Profile settings”;
• find the item “How do I delete my profile?”;
• click “Contact Support”;
• select the “Delete profile” goal.

Deleting an account in Odnoklassniki without access to it

If the user’s page for some reason turned out to be blocked, then it can also be deleted. For this you need:

• scroll to the bottom of the page and find a link to agreements and policies;
• go to the license agreement;
• select the point of contacting the social network support service;
• send a request to the network administration, indicating the reasons for blocking and deleting the profile.

If the user has lost access to his page, then to delete it you need to:

• open the form by this link;
• select the item in the support chat “Delete profile”;
• select “Delete profile”.

Then the user will need to wait until technical support checks his rights to the page being deleted. As evidence, a person may be required to provide old login IDs, a description of recent posts and content, the date when access was lost, and where they last logged into the social network.

When the account is deleted, the user will be able to link the phone to another page. The page will cease to exist six months after the request is submitted.
