To create beautiful curls, choose curlers of a sufficiently large volume, with a diameter of 3 centimeters or more. Velcro curlers or “hedgehogs” are comfortable and securely holding the hair, but they may not unwind well. Do not use Velcro if you have weak thin hair, otherwise you risk losing part of your hair when unrolling. On classic plastic curlers, the strands are fixed with special clips or hairpins, with frequent practice, you will cope with this quickly. Professionals use velvet curlers, they are absolutely safe for hair and create beautiful large waves. However, if you prefer to curl your hair at night, it may be uncomfortable for you to sleep with velvet curlers: they are quite stiff.
Wash your hair with shampoo and moisturizing balm. Dry slightly, but do not dry completely. Start styling from the top of your head. Separate a small strand, its width should be slightly less than the width of the curler. Treat the strand with a styling product to create curls, apply it from the ends to the roots, this will help maintain volume. Curl your curls starting at the ends. The rollers of the curler should fit snugly against the head. Wait for your curls to dry. It is better to wait until it dries naturally: a hairdryer will noticeably damage curled hair. Unroll the strands gently and comb them with your fingers. Spray hairspray to create volume. If desired, you can apply mousse to your hair and create a trendy styling with the effect of wet hair.

Large curlers can create different effects depending on the length and structure of the hair. They straighten hair a little and create beautiful waves from small naughty curls. Absolutely straight and long hair, twisted on very large curlers, gains stylish volume. Graduated haircuts for medium length hair turn into cascading waves. Also, large curlers are suitable for youth styling of short hair, they create a wave at the ends and can be used for a casual styling effect.
