Methods for treating herpes in children

If your child develops herpes, you need to see a doctor. You can cure this disease with folk methods, but only if they are in addition to the traditional treatment option. It is important to remember that the herpes virus is transmitted to other people, therefore, it is recommended to limit the child’s social circle during the period of illness – for example, stop taking him to kindergarten.

You must be prepared for the fact that herpes cannot be completely cured either at home or in the hospital. Unfortunately, the virus remains in the human body forever, but you can get rid of the symptoms of the disease.

First of all, you need to try to increase the child’s immunity. You can do this at home using a rosehip decoction. Take 300 g of dried or 200 g of fresh berries, pour a liter of boiling water and cook for 40-50 minutes over low heat. Add sugar to the broth, stir and continue to cook for another 10-20 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, wrap it up with a warm large towel and leave to cool slowly overnight. After that, strain the broth and give it to the child at least three times a day at the rate of 100 g of liquid per 10 kg of the baby’s weight. Such a simple recipe will help boost immunity, but if you want to enhance the effect, also use special medications.

Folk remedies for herpes in children

To quickly get rid of herpes, give your child foods that help cope with this disease: in particular, fish oil and citrus fruits. Echinacea tincture is also recommended. Well helps to treat herpes and lemon balm broth, prepared at the rate of 1 tbsp. l. herbs on a glass of water. Such funds have a general strengthening effect on the body and accelerate the process of getting rid of the disease.

When bubble formations appear on the skin, you need to prepare a special product that will help relieve pain and itching, as well as speed up the healing process. Fresh aloe or Kalanchoe juice is well suited in this case. An effective remedy will be a compress with calendula tincture. It should be borne in mind that it is necessary to keep such a compress on damaged skin areas for at least 20-30 minutes.

Try a special herpes mask. Grind 3 medium cloves of garlic using a special device, add 1 tbsp. l. ash, 1 tsp. fresh honey, then stir the product and apply to damaged skin. With frequent use of such a mask, herpes goes away quickly and is much less painful.
