How to cook pink salmon

Any fish is a supplier of many nutrients to the human body, so fish dishes must be on the menu several times a week.

 

Pink salmon is not considered the most juicy fish, but we will consider options for how to cook pink salmon quickly, tasty and juicy.

When buying pink salmon, you must remember that the slightest smell of staleness, as well as mucus on the surface of the fish and dull eyes should be a reason to refuse a dubious purchase.

 

Sometimes it will be better to opt for fresh frozen fish than spoiled chilled.

Fried pink salmon

Ingredients:

  • Gorbuša – 1 pc.
  • Sunflower oil – 3 tbsp. l.
  • Seasonings for fish, salt – to taste
  • Lemon and herbs for serving.

Rinse the fish thoroughly, remove scales and entrails, cut into portions. Blot each piece with a paper towel and place in a hot frying pan with oil. Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side, depending on the size of the pieces. After turning the fish over for the first time, season with salt and seasoning, then turn over again and season with salt on the other side. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges and herbs with mashed potatoes or baked potatoes.

Pink salmon baked

 

Ingredients:

  • Salmon fillet – 4 pcs.
  • Butter – 70 gr.
  • Lemon – 1/2 pc.
  • Parsley – 1/2 bunch
  • Dill – bunch
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Peel and seed the lemon, chop. Mix finely chopped greens, lemon, salt, pepper (you can use ground white pepper if desired) and butter. Blot the pieces of fish with a paper towel, spread them out on the foil close enough to each other. Put the resulting oil mixture on the pink salmon, wrap it tightly and send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with pasta or zucchini stew.

Pink salmon with vegetables in the oven

 

Ingredients:

  • Gorbuša – 1 pc.
  • Potatoes – 5-7 pcs.
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Carrots – 1 pieces.
  • Sunflower oil – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Seasonings for fish, salt to taste.
  • Garlic to taste.
  • Lemon to taste.

Wash vegetables, peel and cut into thin slices, onions – half rings. Put potatoes, carrots and onions on the bottom of a greased baking dish, add salt. Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Rinse the pink salmon, peel, cut off the head and gills, rub generously with a mixture of salt and spices outside and inside. Place fish over hot vegetables, drizzle with oil, garnish with lemon, cover with foil and cook for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes. Serve with natural yoghurt, mayonnaise, garlic and dill sauce.
