What could be easier than boiling pasta, especially if it is of high quality and made from wholemeal flour. However, even this seemingly simple process has several secrets.
– Pasta is best cooked in a wide-bottomed saucepan. For 100 grams of pasta, 1 liter of water should be taken. Thanks to this, the pasta will remain elastic and will not lose its shape.
– Pour pasta into already salted water – half a tablespoon of salt per 1 liter of water.
– After throwing the pasta into a colander, return them not to the previous saucepan, but to the container with the prepared sauce – and the pasta will soak and the sauce will reveal more of its aromas.
– Good pasta does not need to be rinsed with water.
– You don’t have to cook pasta on the fire, just bring them to a boil, wait a couple of minutes and turn them off. Leave the pasta in boiling water, and they will reach the desired state on their own.
