How to cook oatmeal without boiling

Reading time – 3 minutes.

Oatmeal, cooked in any way, is very beneficial for digestion. However, if you cook it without boiling, the flakes retain much more useful properties than with the usual method. In addition, it cooks much faster, which is important for morning meals.

It is better to start cooking this porridge in the evening, leaving the flooded cereals overnight, but you can use a thermos – then they will become soft after 2 hours. The “filler” for porridge can be different – if desired, you can add other fruits or nuts to it.

Ingredients

Oatmeal – 3 tablespoons (no slide)

Water – 150 ml

Dry – 1 tbsp.

Raisins – 1 tablespoon

Candied fruits – 1 tsp

Apple – 1 pcs.

Honey – 0.5 tsp

Coconut flakes – 1 tsp

1. Boil water. Put oatmeal and dried fruits in a bowl (or in a thermos), pour in boiling water. Leave overnight (or 2 hours).

2. Grate or finely chop the apple, add it to the softened flakes. Drizzle with liquid honey, mix well. Put candied fruits on ready-made porridge, sprinkle with coconut.
