How to cook in pots correctly

A dish from a pot is unusual, tasty and juicy. Even the most ordinary potatoes prepared in this way will pleasantly surprise you. In addition, more vitamins remain in the products baked in earthenware, which means more benefits for you.

  • Cooking in pots is not difficult, but there are a number of rules to help make the process right:
  • Clay is sensitive to sudden changes in temperature, so the pots of food should be placed in a still cold oven. After cooking, let the pots “reach” in the cooling oven.
  • Clay absorbs flavors and aromas, so if you like spices, line the pots with foil or parchment.
  • Instead of lids, use baked dough pieces – it will become a delicious addition to the main course.
  • The pots are washed by hand only without detergents – in hot water with a brush.
  • If you soak the pot before cooking, it will be saturated with moisture and then give it to the dish – it will turn out much juicier!
  • Store the pots in paper towels to help the clay breathe.
