- Now the fruits are washed under running water and discarded in a colander to drain excess moisture.
- Each jar must be filled with berries to half the volume.
- Pour water into a saucepan and add sugar. Sugar syrup is boiled on the stove, bringing the liquid to a boil.
- Still boiling syrup is poured over grapes in jars and covered with lids. 15 minutes the drink should be infused.
- After a quarter of an hour, the syrup is poured from the cans into the same pan and put on fire. Two minutes after boiling, citric acid is added to the liquid (a pinch of acid is enough for each jar).
- Now grapes in jars are poured with syrup and sealed with a seamer.

Two three-liter jars will require the following amount of products:
- 2 kg of blue grapes;
- 0,5 kg of granulated sugar;
- 4 L of water.
How to make compote:
- Pick the berries from the bunches, pour water for 15-20 minutes, rinse well and put in a colander to drain the water.
- Banks for compote should be sterilized with boiling water or steam.
- Each jar is filled with berries by about a third of the volume.

- Now fill each jar with boiling water and immediately close with metal lids.

Compote made from grapes and apples
The taste of such a drink is twice as good, because it contains not only grapes, but also fragrant apples. Acid from apples brightens grape compote, its shade turns out to be very beautiful, ruby. But, this, if you take berries of dark varieties (Moldova, Isabella) – they are the best for making such a compote for the winter.
For each jar you will need:
- Xnumx g of granulated sugar;
- 1-2 bunches of grapes (depending on size);
- 3-4 apples.
Brewing a vitamin drink is easy:
- The grapes are washed directly on the brushes, shaken off and lightly dried.
- Apples should also be washed and cut into several pieces, the core with stones should be removed. If the fruits are small, you can put the whole apples in a jar.
- Banks are pre-washed with soda and sterilized.
- Apples and grapes are placed in each jar, filling the container by 2/3.
- It remains to add sugar, pour boiling water over the fruit, filling the jars to the very neck, and roll up.
The compote is turned over and wrapped. The next day, you can lower the banks into the basement.
Compote recipe for the winter from grapes and plums
The taste and aroma of wine berries goes well with other fruits. The blue variety can be advantageously combined with plum, getting a fragrant and tasty drink for the winter.
The following ingredients will be required:
- blue grapes 4-5 medium-sized bunches;
- Xnumx g of granulated sugar;
- 0,5 kg plums;
- water.
The preparation of the drink will be as follows:
- Jars are prepared in advance: first they wash the containers with soda, then sterilize them in the oven or in any other way. After this procedure, the container must dry completely.
- Grapes are not picked from bunches, they are washed just like that. Shake the brushes well. Plums are also washed and lightly dried.
- So many drains are placed in each jar to fill the container by a quarter. A couple of bunches of grapes are placed on top. As a result, the jar should be half filled with fruit.
- The prepared fruit mixture is poured with boiling water and the jars are covered with lids.
- After half an hour, you need to drain the water infused on the berries and place it in a saucepan. Pour sugar into it, mix and bring to a boil. After boiling, you can boil the syrup a little more so that the sugar dissolves completely in it.
- Pour fruit with boiling syrup and quickly close the jars with metal lids. Now you need to turn the containers with compote and leave in this position for half an hour. When the drink cools down a bit, the jars are turned over to their normal position and wrapped in a blanket – so the compote will go through the sterilization process itself.
The blank is taken out to the cellar after 2-3 days, when the compote is well infused and completely cools down under the covers.
How to close compote with lemon
This drink turns out to be very refreshing, it can be prepared not only for the winter, but also brewed for every day to quench your thirst in the unbearable summer heat. - 100 grams of grapes;
- 30 g lemon;
- 1 spoon of sugar;
- 1 L of water.

- Lemon should be scalded with boiling water and cut into slices along with the peel.
- Berries and lemon slices are placed in a saucepan, covered with sugar and water is added. All this must be brought to a boil and simmered until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- To drink compote fresh, simply cover the pan with a lid and wait for the drink to cool completely. For harvesting for the winter, compote is poured along with fruit into jars and corked with metal lids.
How to close grape compote for the winter with whole bunches
Small-fruited blue varieties are most suitable for such a preparation, because the bunch should fit freely in the jar and pass through its neck. Cooking this compote is even faster and easier, because you don’t have to sort through and pick the berries.
The ingredients are as follows:
- whole bunches without damaged and rotten berries;
- 2 L of water;
- 1 cup sugar.
The cooking technology is very simple:
- The brushes are washed under running water, inspected and removed single spoiled grapes.
- Banks need to be washed with soda, but not yet sterilized.
- Several clusters are placed in each jar to fill it by about a third.
- Pour the bunches of grapes with boiling water, filling the jars to the top. After 10-15 minutes, the water is drained.
- Sugar is added to this infusion and the syrup is brought to a boil.
- Pour the bunches of grapes with boiling syrup and cork with a seaming machine.
The first day the compote is in inverted jars, securely wrapped in a blanket. The next day, you can clean the workpiece in the cellar or in the pantry.
If you are preparing grape compote, remember that a large amount of sugar can spoil the delicate taste of this drink. In addition, most varieties already have a high sugar content, so in some cases you can not add granulated sugar at all.
