In order for the dumplings to please the most demanding gourmets, they must be boiled correctly, and here we have collected all the most important life hacks:
– Boil dumplings in a large saucepan so that they have enough space and do not stick to each other;
– Take water at the rate of 1,5 liters to 0,5 kg of dumplings;
– Salt water before throwing dumplings;
– Be sure to stir the dumplings, very carefully so as not to damage them, so you will not let them stick to the bottom and stick together;
– After the water boils again and the dumplings float to the surface, small cooks – 3-5 minutes, large – 5-7 minutes;
– A minute before the end of the preparation of dumplings, you can add bay leaf and allspice;
– Catch the finished dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve with butter or sour cream, other sauces.
