How to cook dietary jellied meat
Reading time – 3 minutes.
Everyone knows that jellied meat is a festive dish that traditionally decorates the Russian feast. High-calorie, meat, with horseradish and mustard – one of the main dishes of any holiday. But what if you are on a diet? In fact, you can also cook a dietary jelly, and there will be only 2 deviations from the classic recipe:
- For dietary jellied meat, calorie content is extremely important. It can be reduced by using chicken and turkey, beef and lamb fillets.
- Diet jelly is prepared without adding bones and fatty parts of meat, so it is important to stimulate its solidification: add agar-agar or gelatin, but keep in mind that agar-agar is made from herbs and is less caloric. If you follow the instructions, the jellied meat will harden even with a very dietary broth.
Otherwise, the jellied meat cooking scheme is absolutely the same – we cook the meat, disassemble it, fill it with broth and cool it.
