How to cook croutons
 

Croutons are a wonderful addition to the main course. And kids love big croutons for breakfast!

Croutons are bread, little more than bread crumbs. That is, these are croutons, however, unlike them, croutons are not dried, but fried.

Croutons are made from black or white bread. Slices 1 cm thick are cut into squares and fried in oil until golden brown. Garlic, pepper and salt can be added to the oil for flavor to taste.

Croutons as a separate dish are most often prepared according to French recipe.

 
  • You will need bread, eggs, sugar and milk, optionally cinnamon, vanilla or nutmeg spices.
  • Prepare the batter – beat in the egg, milk and sugar.
  • Melt the butter in a skillet.
  • Dip the bread in batter and fry on both sides until golden brown.
