Products of not lazy cabbage rolls
Cabbage – 10-12 sheets per 400 grams
Minced meat – 500 grams
Rice – 100 grams
Onions – 1 medium onion head
Sour cream – 15% fat, 200 grams (alternatively, add sour cream or cheese sauce instead of sour cream)
Tomato paste – 200 grams
Salt, ground black pepper – to taste
Cooking stuffed cabbage
1. Put the cabbage leaves in salted boiling water, cook for 10 minutes, put on a plate.
2. Peel the onion, chop finely.
3. Boil rice, cool.
4. Mix the minced meat, cabbage, boiled rice and onions, salt, pepper and stir by hand for 5-7 minutes.
5. Wrap the minced meat pieces in cabbage leaves, put in a thick-walled dish and simmer under a lid over low heat for 15 minutes, adding oil if necessary, periodically turning the cabbage rolls gently.
6. Pour cabbage rolls in a saucepan with a mixture of sour cream and tomato paste, simmer under the lid for another 20 minutes.

Cook cabbage rolls in the microwave at 800 W for 10 minutes in a covered dish, then insist in a closed microwave for 5 minutes.

Fold the cabbage rolls into the multicooker pan and cook them for 2 hours, having previously set the multicooker to the “Stew” mode.

Cabbage rolls are of 2 types: ordinary and “lazy”. Lazy cabbage rolls differ from ordinary cabbage rolls in that, for their preparation, minced meat is not wrapped in cabbage leaves, and cabbage chopped into thin strips is kneaded into minced meat. Thus, ordinary cabbage rolls are cabbage leaves with minced meat inside, and lazy ones are cutlets with cabbage.
Thick veins cut from cabbage leaves can be finely chopped and added to the minced meat – this will reduce the cost of minced meat and give the cabbage aroma more saturation.
