How to cook baked fish in foil

More than a dozen books have been written about the benefits of fish, fish is part of all diets, without exception, since it contains a minimum of fat, and that is very useful for our body, especially the weakened one.

 

Fish contains a large amount of vitamins and minerals, among which omega acids occupy a special place, which reduce cholesterol levels and the risk of cardiovascular diseases. In order to provide your body with the necessary amount of omega-acids, you need to eat sea and ocean fish at least once a week.

Fish are able to provide the body with the required amount of protein.

 

The systematic consumption of fish maintains the level of iodine in the body at the required level.

In short, if you want to be healthy, you need to eat as much fish as possible. But in order for all the useful substances to be preserved in it, and the dish itself brings not only taste pleasure, but also benefits to the body, it is not at all necessary to fry it in a large amount of oil.

Roasting fish is a good way to preserve nutrients and avoid adding vegetable fat. And if you bake the fish in foil, you can avoid the lengthy and tedious process of washing the dishes after cooking.

River trout baked in foil

Anyone can cope with the preparation of this recipe, even the one who is in the kitchen for the first time.

 

Ingredients:

  • River trout – 1 pc.
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Rosemary – 1 sprig

Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Season the peeled river trout with salt or season with soy sauce, pepper instead of salt and put a sprig of rosemary inside the fish.

Wrap the trout in foil and place in the preheated oven. Trout cooking time takes about 20-15 minutes, depending on the size of the fish.

 

Serve hot fish, fresh salad or boiled vegetables can be served as a side dish.

Baked dorada stuffed with vegetables

Ingredients:

 
  • Dorado – 2 pcs.
  • Luk – 1 No.
  • Carrots – 1 pcs.
  • Eggplant – 1 pcs.
  • Sweet pepper – 1 pc.
  • Tomatoes – 1 pieces.
  • Fresh oregano – 1 bunch;
  • Salt – to taste
  • Spices – to taste

We take whole, pre-peeled fish, rub it with salt and spices.

Peel and chop the vegetables. Fry a little in vegetable oil.

Transfer the lightly steamed vegetables to a separate bowl, add salt and pepper. To stir thoroughly.

 

Put the vegetable mixture inside the fish, add whole branches of oregano there.

Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees.

Place the fish on cling foil, cover the fish with oregano sprigs and then wrap tightly. Place the fish in a preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

 

Fragrant, juicy fish is ready. It can be garnished with potatoes or rice.

Baked salmon

This dish may well become a decoration for any festive table.

Ingredients:

  • Medium salmon – 1 pc.
  • Lemon – 2 pcs.
  • Orange – 1 pcs.
  • Chili pepper – 3 pcs.
  • Luk – 1 No.
  • Soy Sauce – 3 Art. l
  • Honey – 1 Art. l
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Salt – to taste

Cooking the sauce. Grate the zest of one lemon. Squeeze out the lemon juice. Peel and chop the chili pepper, mix it with soy sauce, honey, zest, lemon juice.

Cut the salmon into two large longitudinal fillets, leaving the skin on them. Make deep cuts on the salmon in several places.

Spread the baking foil on a baking sheet and put the threads on it, which we will use to tie up the salmon.

Put one piece of fillet on a baking sheet. Put orange and lemon slices on it and pour a little sauce over it.

Put the second piece of fillet on top and tie them with threads, pour over the rest of the sauce. Wrap the fish in foil and leave to marinate for at least 4 hours. After that, we get the fish out of the refrigerator.

We preheat the oven to 200 degrees, put the fish in it, but cover it with foil not completely, but so that one side of it remains open. We bake for 40-45 minutes.

Festive salmon is ready, it can be served with potatoes, rice, boiled asparagus and just a fresh salad.

Baked fish in lemon-garlic sauce

Any fish from the salmon breed is suitable for this recipe: pink salmon, trout, salmon, etc.

Ingredients:

  • Fish (weighing 700-800 gr.) – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Lemon – 1/2 pc.
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Butter – 50 gr.
  • Dill – 1 bunch
  • Vegetable oil to taste

Chop 2 garlic cloves and dill.

Grate the lemon zest on a fine grater.

Melt the butter and mix with half the dill, garlic and zest. Put in the refrigerator so that it solidifies again.

Make longitudinal cuts on the fish.

In a bowl, combine vegetable oil, remaining dill, garlic, lemon juice, add salt and pepper.

Lubricate the fish with the resulting marinade on both sides, especially carefully lubricate the cuts. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

We take out the frozen oil from the refrigerator and put it inside the fish, put a small amount on the fish itself.

We wrap the fish tightly in foil and place it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. We bake for 20 minutes.

After this time, we take out the fish, unfold it and put it in the oven again, but without foil, so that a golden crust forms on it. For this, 5-7 minutes is enough.

“Lazy” salmon on a pillow of vegetables

This recipe will be appreciated by lovers of delicious food, but who do not like to spend a lot of time at the stove, baked salmon is an option for them.

Ingredients:

  • Salmon steaks or fillets – 1 kg.
  • Olive oil – 50 gr.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Salt – to taste
  • Pepper and spices to taste
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp l.
  • Luk – 1 No.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 2 pc.
  • Cherry tomatoes – 8-10 pcs.
  • Carrots – 2 pieces.
  • Sour cream – 2 Art. l

For the marinade, mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt and spices, mix thoroughly, add squeezed garlic.

Spread the marinade on the steaks and leave to marinate a little while preparing the vegetables for the pillow and preheating the oven.

Wash the vegetables and cut into large pieces, cut the cherry tomatoes into halves.

Cover the baking dish with foil. We spread a layer of pepper, carrots and onions on it, then salmon steaks. Put cherry tomatoes between them and grease vegetables and fish with sour cream.

We put the form in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. We bake for 10 minutes. Then we lower the temperature to 160 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.

Half an hour and a delicious dinner with a side dish is ready.
