In some versions of Microsoft Word 2010, the width, height, and even paper size are specified in inches. For most people, this unit of measurement is not clear and is unlikely to ever be needed. If you’re more used to seeing centimeters, let’s see how you can change the default units from inches to centimeters.
Go to the tab Fillet (File) and click Word Options (Word Options).
Switch to section Advanced (Additionally).
Drop down to the section Display (Screen) and change the settings so that measurements are displayed in centimeters by selecting the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.
If you use rulers, you will immediately notice the difference.
This solves one of my biggest annoyances when working with Microsoft Word. I hope this material will be useful for you as well.
