How to clear the pores on the nose

Clearing the pores on your nose is very easy – provided that you follow some rules while doing so. Recall which ones.

Why do nose pores get clogged?

If we imagine the duct of the sebaceous gland in the form of a pipe through which sebum moves, then the pores are a funnel through which sebum enters the surface of the skin. Sebum is not produced to make you get blackheads or blackheads – it is part of the skin’s defense system that protects it from external influences and dehydration.

The concentration of sebaceous glands is especially high in the so-called T-zone (forehead, nose, chin). In addition, in this area, the pores are larger, which means that the outlet channels are wider.

With oily and combination skin types, sebum is produced more than necessary. As a result, sebum stagnates at the outlet and, mixed with dead cells and impurities, forms a sebaceous plug. This is acne, it is also an open comedone, it is also a black dot. Oxidized in air, sebum darkens.

Do you know what your skin wants to tell you?

Causes of Pore Enlargement and Pollution

The main reason is the hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands, which often occurs with oily skin and during hormonal changes, in particular in puberty. However, there are other additional factors that can activate the sebaceous glands or provoke blackheads.

  • Incorrect food. There is reason to believe that sweet and high-carbohydrate foods (grains) stimulate the sebaceous glands and cause the formation of inflammatory elements.

  • Insufficient, improper skin cleansing or neglect. Oily skin should be cleansed thoroughly, using gels, foams and tonics with a small amount of acids, loosening the sebaceous plug, and astringents. And once a week, carry out an intensive cleansing procedure.

  • Wrongly chosen means. It is important to choose the right care for your skin type and condition.

Too aggressive cleansing or inappropriate use of alcohol-containing products can cause dehydration of the skin, resulting in the activation of the sebaceous glands as a protective reaction.

Another mistake is the use of heavy textures: nourishing creams and balms with a high content of oils. Oily skin does not need them, as they only add fuel to the fire and clog pores.
