- Disconnect the machine from electricity, turn off the water supply.
- Open the service hatch in the lower right corner.
- Lay a tray under the manhole cover. In Zanussi, it is made in such a way that the contents of the pipes flow down it into a container.
- Slowly unscrew the cap and remove the filter. Do not use tools – the handle is made of plastic and breaks easily.
- Rinse the part under running water, remove debris, coins. Turn the impeller with your finger, examine the accessible surfaces.
- Put the plug in place.
If lint, debris has gotten into the threads or limescale has accumulated, it will not be easy to unscrew the cap. In this case, it is worth tilting the car, leaning against the wall, knocking on the lid. Large objects can change their position and unlock the plug. Anyone with experience in repairing the SMA can remove the back wall, the pump, and get to the cochlea. If there is no experience, then it is better to call the master.
How to remove the filter from a top loading machine:
- Open the lid and then the drum doors.
- Find a plastic part with a latch at the bottom of the drum.
