How to clean the seams between the tiles in the bathroom: choosing the means
There are several ways to clean tile joints. You can use expensive ready-made mixtures containing chlorine and other potent components, or refer to folk recipes. In extreme situations, a joint replacement is used, but it is better not to bring the grout to such a state.

How to clean with folk remedies
The most popular and effective are the following formulations:
- A mixture of baking soda (half a glass), lemon juice (50-60 g) and 9% vinegar (about 50 g). All components are combined and diluted with warm water in the amount of one and a half liters. Then they proceed to processing, having previously protected their hands with rubber gloves. A foam sponge or an old toothbrush is suitable as a tool, with which the resulting mixture is rubbed. The duration of the solution is from 10 to 15 minutes, after which the seams are washed with clean water. As a result, not only dirt is eliminated, but also the appearance of the tiled masonry is completely renewed.
- Guided by the above proportions, combine soda, lemon juice, then add half a tube of toothpaste and a similar amount of mustard. If you have ammonia, you can pour it into the prepared solution. Processing is similar to the first option.

Cleaning with household chemicals
This method involves the manual preparation of a cleaning composition.
- You will need any oxygen bleach and warm water taken in the same amount as the first component.
- After obtaining a homogeneous consistency, the solution is poured into a container with a spray and applied to the walls, especially in places of contamination.
- To obtain the result, rinsing with clean water is carried out after 30 minutes; in the presence of deep spots, the duration is doubled.
- You can replace the bleach with whiteness or a mixture of bleach and baking soda, but only if the white seams are treated.
- The composition is applied with a soft sponge (it is more convenient to apply the pasty mixture with a spatula).
- After the seams have dried, they are washed with clean water, while passing the surface with a brush.
If the jointing is not just dirty, but covered with mold, a special felt-tip pen with a waterproof dye will be most effective, which performs two tasks at once: paints over unsightly seams and removes fungus.
