How to clean copper cookware
 

Copper dishes are very demanding to maintain, a dishwasher will not work here – the dishes will tarnish. Of course, in any supermarket you will find a special detergent for washing copper, but we will tell you how to get by with your grandmother’s methods.

Vinegar and salt. Mix equal parts table vinegar and fine salt, rub the dishes with this solution;

Lemon and salt. It copes well with dirt and gruel from lemon juice with salt, squeeze the juice out of the lemon and add so much salt to make a gruel;

Flour, vinegar and salt. Take a glass of vinegar, add a tablespoon of salt to it, and now add flour and stir, you need enough flour to make a gruel. Spread this gruel over the surface of the dishes and leave for 20-30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

 

And remember, whichever method you use, be sure to thoroughly rinse the dishes under running water. And the final step will be to polish the dishes, this is easy to do by rubbing the items with a linen towel.
