How to clean a gold bracelet

To clean the surface, in addition to water, the following substances are used:

· Soda;

· Ammonia;

· hydrogen peroxide;

· Household detergents and cleaning agents (washing powder, liquid or solid soap, detergent and dishwashing detergent – be careful with abrasive agents and substances containing chlorine);

· Salt and sugar.

A soft cloth (natural wool or flannel), an old toothbrush with the most soft bristles, a container with a non-oxidizing surface – enameled metal, glass, ceramics, food grade plastic are used as auxiliary means.

Depending on the recipe for the detergent, it can be used cold or hot; in some formulations, the products are boiled. The most active compounds, including ammonia and hydrogen peroxide, are not subject to heating.

· Salt or sugar solution (2-3 tablespoons per glass of water), in which the products are left for 8-12 hours;

· A solution of baking soda (1-1,5 tablespoons per glass of water), prepared with very hot water and used within half an hour. You can add a tablespoon of mild detergent;

· Formulations using ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, detergent – no more than a teaspoon of active substances is added to a glass of warm water, it is permissible to use all three components;

· Soap solution.
