How to choose the right olives
 

Olives are a healthy and tasty product. A wide assortment from different countries and for any wallet is presented on supermarket shelves, but what exactly to look for when choosing olives:

  • When buying olives in cans, choose a container without damage. Any dent indicates that the integrity of the container coating could have been violated and harmful and toxic substances that make up the package got into the brine.
  • If you choose olives in a glass container, the brine should be transparent, and the olives should be whole and without stains.
  • Prefer fruits with seeds – they are of the highest quality, and do not buy stuffed olives – they are simply champions in terms of the presence of preservatives.
  • Black olives are very often counterfeited and colored themselves. Remember, a black olive is never completely black; one barrel of it will certainly have a lighter tone.
  • And another important detail, pay attention to the olive producer, for example, our country, Belarus and even Turkey – cannot be an olive producer.
