Contrary to popular belief, red lipstick is universal – you just need to choose the right shade:
For dark skin, warm tones are suitable – carrot, brick;
For fair skin – berry – raspberry, cherry.
Note: dark shades and dense textures visually make lips thinner and emphasize their contour.
Before you buy lipstick, try it on your fingertips – this is where the skin tone resembles the shade of the lips, and not on the wrist or the back of the hand, as many believe.
First, apply the foundation – this will maintain the definition of the contour. Then use a pencil, its color should be close to natural. And only then, in several layers, apply lipstick.
The red color is extremely long-lasting, so if you accidentally paint on the skin around the lips, you will have to reapply it. Therefore, use a special brush – this will help control the process.
