What you need to consider to make your baby comfortable.

The skin is the main source of information about the world, the largest and most developed sense organ. An 8-week-old fetus already responds to touch earlier than smell, taste, hearing and vision. Tactile sensations from a very early age play a huge role in the socialization, emotional, intellectual and physical development of the child. Therefore, when it comes to choosing a diaper, then the matter must be approached especially seriously.

It is clear that a baby differs significantly from a one-year-old baby in both size and activity. For example, Pampers distinguishes five age groups: infant (0-5 months), curious discoverer (6-11 months), determined explorer (12-17 months), capable learner (18-23 months), and baby (24+ months) ).

The newborn will lie quietly for up to five months, and then he will begin to sit, crawl, learn new skills and actively move around the house. Experts recommend using 7-8 diapers a day for the first time, and after about half a month, reduce the number to 5-6. The diaper should not interfere with the healing of the navel and severely restrict the baby in movement. At the same time, at the very beginning, it is better not to buy for future use, but to monitor the reaction of the skin.

Most often, the occurrence of allergic reactions is associated with individual characteristics. If we talk in general about reddening of the skin in the diaper area, then we are talking about diaper dermatitis. This skin reaction is an inflammatory response in the diaper area, often triggered by prolonged contact with moisture, irritants in the urine and faeces, changes in skin acidity, and friction.

The use of disposable diapers cannot be called the main factor in the onset of diaper dermatitis. Clinical studies have shown that about a quarter of all young children have diaper rash in the first four weeks of life.

For the prevention of diaper dermatitis, frequent diaper changes, the use of high-quality superabsorbent diapers, regular washing, and the use of additional products, such as wet wipes, are recommended to thoroughly cleanse the skin with each diaper change.

Pampers has decided to take care of the skin of babies from the first days and have released a new diaper for newborns. Pampers Premium Care is called the softest among the brand’s products. Its development was based on a complete pyramid of needs among parents. The novelty not only perfectly absorbs, leaves the skin dry and prevents irritation, but also sits well, is very soft to the touch, and also pleases the eye with its modern design.

The new product from Pampers is equipped with inner and outer elastic cuffs, an absorbent layer, and a distribution and absorption system. The health of the skin was entrusted to a strip soaked in lotion. And the stretching sides and Velcro fasteners will not restrict the baby’s mobility.
