What to check first in the washing machine
The easiest way to check the appearance of the product. What does the body of the washing machine look like, are there any dents, damages, scratches on it, how well the machine panel is painted. Every little thing matters, because the equipment should serve more than one year. So take a close look at:
- the outer casing of the washer;
- the inner surface of the drum, how easily it is rotated by hand;
- documentation, coupon, instructions;
- complete set – there must be all hoses for connection;
- does the technique work when plugged into the network;
- whether there are bolts for transportation in place – this is important when transporting the machine;
- dispenser tray, panel.

The car body. As mentioned above, the case must be free of defects. Make sure that the car has not been dropped – scratches and dents can indicate this. You can check how smooth the coating of the drum is with a nylon stocking or tights. Put them on your hand, move along the surface. Stocking whole and unharmed? So it’s all right.
Spin the drum by hand. It should spin with a slight stretch, not too easily. In this case, there should be no extraneous sounds, creaking. Rock it up and down. If a large gap has formed between the drum and the housing, this indicates wear on the bearings.
Bolts for transport. They are located on the back of the washer. Check the number of bolts, pay attention to how they are installed. If a slope is visible, it means that the car was dropped during transportation and the tank is shifted to the side. We advise you to refuse such a purchase. In modern washing machines, the tank is made of plastic, which could crack and be damaged. And replacing the tank will result in the cost of new equipment. Also, the bolts must not be scratched. This indicates that they were removed, and probably the SMA was already being repaired.
Support legs. Legs are included with the new technique. Used washers should have them installed. Check the condition of the legs, how evenly they fit to the floor.
Equipment and hoses. Of course, in the store you can not check the operation of the hoses, so visually inspect them for integrity. Count the number of bolts, nuts, fasteners that will be needed for installation.
