Dear Nikolai Ivanovich,
I want to write anonymously and as honestly as possible. When I got access to the Internet at the age of 14, I entered “how to change my life” into the search box. At first, of course, esotericism fell down, and then I found your site. But then I could not do anything, I was part of the family. At the age of 18, I left home to study, at first I thought to study at a distance, but it was too expensive (I lived on a scholarship), and student life was quite active in itself. So I came to the Distance after receiving a diploma, when I already started earning a little. And she worked hard for five years. Site Distances
And you know how to formulate this in one sentence …? Probably so “I was extremely lucky that I came to the Distance”.
After all, in life there is luck when you just happen to be lucky or accidentally unlucky. I’m lucky. As for career growth, I would never have SUCH prospects now, if not for the Distance. I just came early, right after college, still young, mistakes are attributed to youth, and achievements are respected and evaluated as “a future good specialist”. Well, I work hard and hard to keep up, but the main thing was that I thought about the annual plan, the 5-year plan, the 10-year plan. At my age, they don’t do that yet, so I’m still a little ahead. A little bit — but in almost any situation, I will not live in poverty (and I know what poverty is, not poverty, fortunately, but I have experienced poverty in my own skin). Why did I start thinking about my future? Distance, she is dear. Where do I get the clear conviction that everything can be learned? The distance is. Where does the habit of planning come from? From there. That’s the truth about career growth and health, I already use professional communities and specialized literature, but it should be so, Distance is a school of general development. Yes, one more thing: there I found like-minded people with whom I can discuss moving towards complex goals.
All this I mean that I once made a very important and wise decision in my life — to enter the Distance. And it turned out to be one of my best investments. Like this. As if I was born in the family of a rich smart dad who taught me a lot. I could not have been more lucky in this life, because everything material can go away, but the skills will remain forever.
As for the benefit to others, don’t worry, it will come. I’m just sorting out more pressing things right now, but I very clearly understand the need to help others (in various formats, charity, social lifts, mentoring) and I will do this. Especially against the backdrop of the financial crisis, which is not going to resolve itself.
Sorry it’s so messy. Simply — THANK YOU SO MUCH. Thanks to you, I, as they say, will have it all. If not for you, not for Distance, I would never have such prospects (I can compare how my friends with a similar story develop without Distance and myself with Distance). You gave a girl from a poor family the opportunity to live as if she was raised in a rich family. Thank you. And yes, as soon as I get to the bottom of my life, I will definitely help others. I promise 😉
Sorry that I do not write a return address, I want it anonymously. I will discuss my actions with others, so if I am wrong in this letter (for example, I am too narcissistic), do not worry, I will be corrected, there is someone. I just wanted to say «thank you». You are a genius of social pedagogy :))))
Long life, good health and many achievements!!!
