Go to the festival
October 1 falls on a “hard day”, so let’s start celebrating from the weekend. On the last weekend of September, check out two vegan fests: a monthly one on Artplay and in the DI Telegraph space. We have already made an announcement for both events. Follow the links, register and spend time with benefit: taste chia seeds, chat with like-minded people and smile at Irena Ponaroshku.
Go outside
If you didn’t have time to go anywhere on the weekend, then just go outside. And it doesn’t matter if it rains or shines. A couple of deep breaths will restore your inner balance and give you strength for the day ahead. For more immersion, head to the Apothecary Garden. In good weather, take a walk through the garden itself, in bad weather, wander around the greenhouse. And if you’re lucky, watch one of the Commonwealth Drama Artists’ (C.A.D.) theater performances there. Among the palm trees and exotic vegetation, it looks especially impressive.
Devote time to reading
Read a book that will change your outlook on life. We are talking about Colin Campbell’s book “The China Study”, which tells about the results of the most extensive study of the relationship between nutrition and health. A Cornell University professor shares shocking facts that will make you completely rethink your approach to animal proteins. If you have already read The China Study, then it’s time to study the continuation of Campbell’s bestseller – Healthy Food. Debunking myths about healthy eating.
Doing yoga
World Vegetarian Day is definitely about doing something. Chant a mantra, meditate and do some asanas. You don’t have to be a Kundalini expert. The most important thing is to tune in to positive emotions. They will positively affect overall well-being and help to cope with nervous tension.
Cook meat-free dinner
Stir fry, baba ghanoush and Alu Baingan. Sounds like a spell? But no, these are just a couple of names of dishes from the vegetarian menu. If you have never tried them, now is the time to make up for this misunderstanding. More culinary ideas can be found on our website.
Dine at Jagannath
Before dinner is not soon, and natural needs make themselves felt? Then you need to look into Jagannath (which is more recent). There you can not read the composition. All meals are served 100% labeled “vegetarian” or “vegan”. Enjoy!
Read the interview from our newspaper
Since you have already been to Jagannath, you had no chance to leave without a fresh number. Open any page and be inspired by the stories of people who practice prano-eating, teach people to get rid of painful nightmares and form their diet without harm to health.
Develop a good habit
Have you been turning off the water when brushing your teeth for a long time, and unplugging the plug when you see that the phone is charged? Then it’s time to move on. Find the nearest waste collection point and finally throw away plastic, glass and paper separately. On the way to the store, discard the bag, and at home in the kettle, heat as much water as you plan to use. Extra bags are an extra load on the planet, extra water in a kettle is tons of CO2 emissions every day!
