For baking and savory dishes
It doesn’t matter what you are going to cook: Easter cake, cake, pies or casserole, scrambled eggs and hearty pie. In all these cases, there is no need to use eggs. Use aquafaba, bananas, applesauce, flax seeds, or oatmeal to bind ingredients.
Aquafaba. This bean liquid has taken the culinary world by storm! In the original, this is the liquid left after boiling legumes. But many also take the one that remains in a tin can from beans or peas. Use 30 ml of liquid instead of 1 egg.
Flax seeds. A mixture of 1 tbsp. l. crushed flaxseed with 3 tbsp. l. water instead of 1 egg. After mixing, leave for about 15 minutes in the refrigerator to swell.
Banana puree. Simply mash 1 small banana into a puree. ¼ cup puree instead of 1 egg. Because the banana has a bright flavor, make sure it’s compatible with the other ingredients.
Applesauce. ¼ cup puree instead of 1 egg. Because applesauce can add flavor to a dish, make sure it’s compatible with other ingredients.
Cereals. A mixture of 2 tbsp. l. cereal and 2 tbsp. l. water instead of 1 egg. Let the oatmeal swell for a few minutes.
If you need eggs as a baking powder, then replace them with baking soda and vinegar.
Soda and vinegar. A mixture of 1 tsp. soda and 1 tbsp. l. vinegar instead of 1 egg. Add to batter immediately.
If you want moisture from eggs, then fruit puree, non-dairy yogurt and vegetable oil are great for this role.
Fruit puree. It not only perfectly binds the ingredients, but also adds moisture. Use any puree: banana, apple, peach, pumpkin puree ¼ cup instead of 1 egg. Since the puree has a strong taste, make sure it is compatible with other ingredients. Applesauce has the most neutral taste.
Vegetable oil. ¼ cup vegetable oil instead of 1 egg. Adds moisture to muffins and pastries.
Non-dairy yogurt. Use coconut or soy yogurt. 1/4 cup yogurt instead of 1 egg.

For a traditional egg exchange
Everything ingenious is simple! If you want to exchange Easter eggs with your loved ones, don’t rush to collect onion skins and boil chicken eggs. Surprise your friends with a vegan egg!
Avocado. This vegan version of the Easter egg is gaining more and more popularity in the world. Just look, they are similar in shape, they have a core and a lot of fat. You can decorate the avocado with stickers and food coloring, or tie a ribbon around it.
Kiwi or lemon. Decorate these fruits, tie with ribbons and give with a big smile.
Chocolate eggs. Of course, it is not easy to find a vegan alternative to chocolate eggs, but it is possible. And if you don’t want to look, you can cook them yourself. You will need an egg mold and your favorite chocolate. Just melt it, pour it into a mold and let it cool.
Cake-egg. Prepare your favorite vegan egg candies. Instead of rolling them into a ball shape, narrow one end. Voila!
Gingerbread. Make vegan egg-shaped gingerbread. Decorate them with coconut flakes or coconut icing.
