Swimming and water aerobics are certainly useful, but … not for the skin. However, there are sure ways to protect yourself and get only pleasure from water procedures.
How pool water harms the skin
Often after swimming in the pool, the skin begins to peel off, a feeling of tightness may appear. Why it happens? Normally, a hydrolipidic film is located on the surface of the epidermis, which retains moisture in the skin. Chemical reagents destroy it.
By the way, hair also suffers from chlorinated water: it grows dull, becomes dry and brittle, split ends and dandruff appear.
