Combing
For long hair you need two combs. Use a comb to detangle the hair, starting at the ends. This is especially important for those with fine and dry hair. Part the strands carefully and detangle the knots, being careful not to rip, or the hair will split. After that, you can comb your hair with a massage brush along the entire length of the hair.
Short-haired it is recommended to comb at least twice a day. One high-quality wide brush is enough, which will not scratch the skin and damage the hair or scratch the scalp. It is good if it is made from natural materials.
the washing up
Washing too often disrupts the function of the sebaceous glands. Long hair degrease, become brittle and thin. Wash your hair no more than once every two days. It is recommended to apply shampoo twice: in the first session, dust, natural grease and residues of styling products will be washed off, and the second will cleanse the skin.
It is believed that short hair can be washed once a week. It’s a delusion. In this case, the sebaceous glands become clogged, and the strands become dry and brittle. Wash your hair at least three times a week. It won’t take much time – you can wash both hair and skin in one go.
Care
Balms and masks should be distributed over the entire length, starting at the ends. Thanks to these products, the hair becomes more manageable and pliable for styling. Therefore, you should not neglect them, even if you have a short haircut. These products perfectly nourish the hair roots and give the curls a natural shine.
Drying
The most common mistake is to twist and rub with a towel after washing long wet hair… This should not be done in any case, because wet curls are very fragile, easily break and tear. Squeeze hair gently with your hands, blot and wrap up with a warm towel.
Short hair dries quickly, but if you have a model haircut, you cannot do without a hairdryer. Be sure to apply thermal protectors before using it. Use cold air for drying. Do not dry your head in the sun; overheating may cause splitting of your hair.
Skin care
The scalp needs the same care as the face, hands and body. If nothing bothers you, pamper yourself with a special salon treatment and massage every six months. This will benefit not only the skin but also the hair. But if dandruff, itching, feeling of tightness appear, urgently contact a trichologist or your stylist.
Owners short haircuts the scalp needs special attention. Complete the set of care products with peels (they improve blood circulation and stimulate hair growth) and oils (soften, soothe and nourish the skin). If you have sensitive, dry skin, choose the right shampoo, limit the use of hair dryers, hot styling tongs, and protect your hair from direct sunlight.
A haircut
Disbanded long hair look very impressive. But only if they are healthy and well-groomed. Jagged ends, electrified or fuzzy strands can ruin even the most glamorous look. To get rid of split ends, you need to trim them. How often depends on the type of hair. Thin hair of a few centimeters should be trimmed every three months. For thick curls, once every six months will be enough.
It is believed that short hair grow faster than long ones, but they are not. It’s just that on a haircut it is more noticeable, it begins to lose its shape after a month. Therefore, be prepared to sacrifice time and money to maintain your image every 4-6 weeks. Beauty demands it!
