  • Then, after such a small cleaning, you need to wipe the suede surface with ordinary cool tap water and leave it for a while to dry. Usually, the procedure is carried out at night, and in the morning you can put on the thing again.

Any stains that may appear on suede clothing and shoes can be removed with talcum powder, milk or gasoline:

  1. Rub the stain in place with a cloth soaked in gasoline and it will disappear right before your eyes.
  2. And if the stain that appears is a greasy drop of something, then sprinkle it immediately with talcum powder, as it has good absorbent properties.
  3. In dirty places, a rough surface may appear on the suede, which is preferable to get rid of with milk. Take about half a glass and add a few drops of ammonia and 1 teaspoon of baking soda there. Mix all the ingredients well, apply to the suede surface and wait a few minutes. Then just wipe with a clean napkin and the thing will be clean.

After either of these two methods of cleaning the suede surface, you should leave it on for a couple of hours and then just brush it lightly. If you regularly take proper care of suede, it will serve you for a very long time and will always look as if you just bought it.
