How to brew ginseng root?

The benefits of decoctions and infusions from this plant are obvious. Ginseng-based products help to cope with malfunctions in the body. This list includes:

  • insomnia;
  • stress;
  • neuroses;
  • postoperative period;
  • bleeding;
  • disorders of the genital area;
  • metabolic disorders.

The decoction according to the standard recipe is easy to prepare. 2-3 tbsp. l. take 300 ml of crushed root. Boil the container with water and roots for 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat, strain the broth and set aside until it cools. Drink warm.

Healing ginseng tea: how to brew

The taste of the broth is quite specific, so you can try to improve it. Black long tea copes well with this.

  • Proportion: 10 parts black tea and 1 part ginseng.

Pour hot water, about 95 degrees, and leave for 5-10 minutes. Then strain the combined tea and drink 1 tbsp. l. spoon before meals three times a day. The duration of treatment is a month, then it is imperative to take a break for 30 days.

Ginseng: how to brew and drink properly

There is an opinion that boiling all the beneficial properties of the plant is lost. Yes, you can get tea this way, but not a healthy drink. It is better not to brew the roots, but to insist on them:

  1. To boil water. Set it aside for 3-4 minutes so that the water temperature drops slightly.
  2. Pour dry raw materials with hot water.
  3. Wrap the container with infusion for a quarter of an hour.

With this method of brewing, all the healing substances contained in the roots will be vaporized.

But alcohol tincture from rhizomes is considered especially useful: rinse the roots, dry, grind and pour vodka at the rate of 1000 ml per 100 g of dry raw materials. After 28 days, filter the tincture. Drink 10 drops half an hour before main meals. The course of treatment is 4-5 weeks.

The plant is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women. Inflammatory and infectious processes are also a reason to prohibit the use of such drugs. People with increased excitability of the nervous system can take ginseng only under the strict supervision of a doctor.
