Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
My choice of vegetarianism was motivated by moral and ethical reasons. The human body is not adapted to digest such food – this leads to illness. People talk about love all the time, but what kind of love can we talk about if they constantly commit murder? Why do people consider their pets to be family members – they love them, take care and clean them, walk with them, even take them to hairdressers. Why aren’t they eaten if you want meat? Wildness? What’s the difference? Animals are animals. Somehow it’s all wrong …
What changed when you stopped eating meat?
In the last grades of school, I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis with dyskinesia and prescribed a strict diet. Shortly thereafter, certain events occurred that changed my life in general and my diet in particular. I ate almost everything that was forbidden to me by doctors, but this form of nutrition was fully consistent with my constitution. Three years later, while in the army, I ended up in the hospital, where I underwent a full medical examination. Imagine my surprise when, at an appointment with a gastroenterologist, it turned out that not the slightest trace of chronic gastritis remained. I also had retinal detachment. I was prescribed a terrible monthly course of treatment, which had to be repeated constantly, every six months. More than 20 years have passed, I have not repeated a single course and now I have 100% vision. And speaking of health in general, I can say that at 41 I am healthy, energetic, I do a huge amount of work, in good physical shape, while I usually do not look more than 30 years old, sometimes I have to show my passport, because people just don’t believe.

Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
Once upon a time, the idea of vegetarianism even scared me. I did not understand the people who chose this path. But one day I decided to give it a try, having studied all the pros and cons. At some point, I could not already see food in the meat, it became inconceivable for me – to eat even fried and seasoned, but still a corpse! Then I realized – there is no turning back!

Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
At first it was a dream – to become healthy, but eating meat is simply impossible in our time. After a couple of years without meat, my eyes began to open and I realized that animals are the same as you and me, they have feelings and fears, they think and, most importantly, they live! And I don’t want to be the cause of anyone’s death! Therefore, things made from the skin of killed animals have also gone from my life.

Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
In 1998, I came across a book about yoga, which spoke about nutrition, about its ethical aspect. This information turned over many ideas about life. And although I was very fond of meat, fish and other “meat-eating” dishes, I could no longer enjoy them. Over the next 3 years, the diet gradually changed to vegetarian. In general, I decided to become a vegetarian for ethical reasons.
What changed when you stopped eating meat?
Much has changed, one might say, everything has changed. The change in diet just happened to change the vector of life, it is possible that this was interrelated. We can say that it turned out to live two very different lives. Vegetarianism is not a panacea for diseases of the body and all kinds of suffering, but the fact that vegetarianism reduces many negative tendencies in life – I can say for sure. Verified by personal experience.

Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
She didn’t like meat and fish since childhood, mostly parents forced me to eat meat dishes. During my student days, I realized that you can safely do without him, feel great at the same time, besides, the animals will not suffer through my fault. I just stopped eating meat and fish literally in one day, and since then there has never been a desire to return to this diet. And only later, when I began to practice yoga, I learned that one of its integral principles is ahimsa – non-violence, non-harm to all living things, which further confirmed me in the correctness of my choice.
What changed when you stopped eating meat?
It was only on vegetarianism that I realized that this was exactly the type of food that really suited me. But I did not have the opportunity to switch to it before, there simply were no such examples in my environment. Now I always cook food at one time, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, feel light and free and do not remember the last time I was in the clinic!

Why did you decide to become a vegetarian?
The thought that I do not want to eat meat appeared in childhood. Especially influenced by the story of rabbits, which were bred by my grandmother’s neighbors. By chance, I witnessed the slaughter, the picture of what is happening is still stored in my memory. But then it was hard for me, still a child, to give up meat. His parents forced him to eat, often fraudulently. But pity for animals and aversion to their killing have only intensified since then.
What changed when you stopped eating meat?
People began to appear in my environment who share an ethical lifestyle. And this is very nice. I was especially surprised by my mother, who a couple of years ago completely abandoned animal food. The main thing is to treat this without fanaticism. It’s a personal matter for everyone, I think so.
