The unusually hot summer of 2019 in Europe is causing Greenland’s glaciers to melt much faster than usual.
On August 15-16, an Associated Press photographer traveled to the east coast of the island with a group of geographers from New York, capturing how the planet’s refrigerator was defrosting.
