Are you wondering where Beko washing machines are assembled? The production of Beko equipment has been established in Turkey and in Russia, therefore, most often models of domestic assembly enter our market. Learn how SMA is done Beko, if the box says “Country of origin: Russia”. The official site will not give such an idea of the assembly as a virtual tour of the factory, to which we invite you right now! You don’t even need to drive 100 km from Moscow to the city of Kirzhach (Vladimir region), just look at the photo or video and see with your own eyes how everything happens!
On the facade of the plant, of course, there is a huge corporate logo of the brand.
The company opened in 2006 and produces not only washing machines, but also refrigerators, but we will pay attention to CMA.
The production process is in full swing!
Around the details and parts of the body of future washing machines.
Factory area of 615 square meters.
In huge mesh containers are the main parts of washing machines: tanks with metal drums.
New parts are waiting for their turn.
Everything is automated as much as possible, you can immediately see whose company: in Turkey, manual labor is also not particularly welcome, everything is modern.
This automatic machine makes a back wall of a drum.
And these metal “graters” are not kitchen utensils at all, but the perforated side walls of future drums!
Perforation is also done automatically on special machines.
A stack of almost finished drums.
A special employee in a nylon glove checks the inner perforated surface for burrs. We already wrote once about the fact that at the German plant Honey they do almost the same thing, only with the help of women’s tights.
Good profession, right? And the check is really necessary – the drum should not spoil things and leave puffs.
Every detail is checked, without exception.
And these are metal sheets for SMA front panels. All metal is Russian-made.
These machines also stamp panels.
Service hatch, which is cut from the rear of the case, “in person”.
The production of the case requires human participation only during the programming of the machines.
The paint shop is the next interesting place in the factory.
Regardless of where the Beko SMA is produced, there are three brand colors: white, silver and anthracite. But the most popular is the white case.
Cars have legs.
Main assembly line.
The tank is welded using ultrasonic welding. You can “thank” these people for the non-separable tank in the Beko SMA. It’s a joke – they are not to blame, the technology was invented by the Turks.
More than 200 Beko CMA variants are assembled in Kirzhach. On this conveyor, the machine receives its engine – conventional or inverter.
These “bricks” are the very counterweights that ensure the stability of the machine. The weight of one part is over 10 kg!
Would you like to look into the washing machine from above? No problem! You are watching the quality check of the counterweight fastening.
As for quality control at all stages, everything is serious with this. There are control points in different parts of the conveyor. Everything is carefully checked.
Drums with which something went wrong “hang” in a special department for further verification and elimination of defects.
By the way, the production employs more than 1100 people who come to work by corporate transport from various settlements from all over the region. Some employees even live 70 km from the plant.
Let’s get back to washers. In the photo – brand new control panels for future SMAs.
This cute machine puts program icons and a company logo on the control panel.
Glasses for the hatch to the enterprise are supplied separately, and they are connected to the frame already at the factory.
When you buy a new washing machine, don’t be afraid if you find some water in it. This is only a testament to the testing that each model goes through at the factory.
After checking for leaks, the cars are sent to the final stage of assembly.
The hatch is attached.
A package of documents is being collected, including a warranty card and instructions.
The machines leave the factory, carefully packed in foam and branded packaging. They go not only to Russian stores, but also abroad – to Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and even Germany.
Finally, let’s take a look at the test lab.
When tested for spin testing, the test model must pass at least 2500 spin cycles.
The factory has special new white clothes that get dirty in different ways – they test the quality of washing, the effectiveness of programs, etc.
There is even an overload test, in which the machine is loaded 1,6 times more than the permissible norm, in order to find out what margin of safety the device has.
As it should be, in this production, in each batch, part of the models goes to additional quality control. To “fill” the required number of test cycles, the models work non-stop for days.
A moment of rest 🙂 The production is so big that you can even move around the shops on a special bicycle.
It is in Kirzhach that a popular model with a drip drum, inverter motor, 1200 rpm spin and dryer rolls off the assembly line – WDW 85120 B3, the cost of which is only 33 rubles.

PS We hope that you will no longer worry about which country you buy household appliances. As you can see, in Russia they can provide excellent assembly and careful product quality control.
