How not to overeat on New Year’s Eve?

Night food intake for the body is, in principle, unfavorable, since our body is not adapted to it. However, there are a number of simple tips to help you get through New Year’s Eve without harming your figure and health.

1. Two to three hours before the night meal, you need to eat, at the usual time for a physiological dinner. Choose fiber, such as stewed or baked vegetables with highly digestible protein such as shrimp, fish, rabbit, and poultry. It is better to exclude carbohydrates.

2. Before the feast itself, you need to drink one or two glasses of water. This will speed up your metabolism and generally prepare your body for food.

3. Serve slices of vegetables, meat, seafood on the New Year’s table as an alternative to dense salads. Remember, any mixes negatively affect our pancreas, which does not work after nine in the evening. It is better to cook slices without dressing or with minimal dressings – olive oil, lemon juice.

4. Give preference to smaller pans. She will not allow you to go over the amount of food.

5. Drinks are better to take non-carbonated and unsweetened. Traditionally, you can raise a glass of champagne. But for further celebration, it is better to use non-carbonated, unsweetened and light alcohol. For example, dry and semi-dry wines.

6. Usually desserts are left at the very end of the meal. It is more correct to postpone them to the first half of the day on January 1. A good alternative to cakes and pastries is the sugar- and gluten-free protein dessert.

7. It is better to finish the feast with a vegetable salad. This will improve the activity of the gastrointestinal tract.

8. And of course, it is important not to sit at the table all night, but to move. It is better to spend New Year’s Eve outside the city with the opportunity to go out into the fresh air after a feast. Come up with outdoor games, thanks to which you can break away from the table from time to time.
