Drink plenty of water and other liquids. The body will give a signal to remove it. Moreover, coffee, energy drinks or tea invigorate in themselves. You can wipe your face with water, it will also help you stay awake. Remember that warm tea is soothing and relaxing, while cold water invigorates.

Advice from an experienced trucker: when you are mercilessly sleepy, you need to periodically sniff a cut lemon. The lemon scent helps to concentrate. An orange will do, too. And if all else fails, mix a spoonful of instant coffee with cold Coca-Cola. You will get a powerful energetic!
