The statements – made available to PAP by the ministry – say that 10 thousand people were quarantined at that time. 192 doctors, 21 thousand 263 nurses, 1 midwives, 864 dentists, 1 laboratory diagnosticians, 035 pharmacists and 571 paramedics.

From the beginning of the epidemic until September 20, 212 doctors, 433 nurses, 27 midwives, 13 dentists, 7 diagnosticians, 115 pharmacists and 36 paramedics were hospitalized.

The Ministry’s data on deaths include those that occurred during hospitalization. They show that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus contributed to the deaths of eight doctors, six nurses and a paramedic.

Previous data on SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infections in healthcare professionals covered the period from the onset of the epidemic to September 14. During this period, coronavirus infection was seen in 986 doctors, 2 393 nurses and 212 midwives. In total, 8 doctors, 881 nurses and 18 midwives were in quarantine. There have been seven deaths among doctors, six deaths among nurses (see here for details)
