The Biological Age Calculator is based on the longevity model developed by the Lab4Life team. Now, thanks to the cooperation of MedTvoiLokony and Lab4Life, the tool is available for free to all MedTvoiLokony users.

When creating the calculator, the goal of the Lab4Life team was to develop the most accurate model in the world, so that everyone could use it here and now without the need for additional research.

To achieve this goal, the team used health history data from 550 subjects, including by UK Biobank and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (USA). Thousands of information about the health and lifestyle of participants were used in the research, such as, for example, the composition of meals, the length and quality of sleep, smoking, and activity measured 24 hours a day. Due to the fact that the research was carried out over many years, it was the first time that it was possible to verify in such a comprehensive manner the long-term influence of lifestyle on health.

Thanks to machine learning methods, scientists from Lab4Life developed a model with unprecedented accuracy and adapted it to the specificity of the Polish population. The model has been built into the Biological Age Calculator so that everyone can instantly check their lifestyle and its impact on the expected healthy life time.

In times of pandemic, our lifestyle has often deteriorated significantly. Poles have gained weight and are less physically active. Check how your lifestyle affects you and what habits you can change to improve your fitness, well-being and extend your healthy life.
