How many circles can a child attend

Additional education provides children with knowledge, skills and abilities that cannot be obtained within the framework of the school curriculum, but which can be very useful in life and even determine fate. Therefore, parents always have a lot of questions related to the choice of circles, sections, clubs and studios.

You should always keep in mind that circles and sections are not only pleasure, they are work that requires a certain application of energy. And therefore, each child has his own norm and it depends on his physical and psychological capabilities.

If the baby is active, nimble and emotionally stable, he doesn’t care about 3-4 circles. And for a child who is painful, fragile, vulnerable, even one type of additional activity can be a burden. Therefore, when deciding where to give the baby, you need to keep in mind that it is necessary to load the child without turning additional activities into hard labor.

And yet there is a certain general rule that can be followed if the question arose about the number of circles. On average, there should be two of them: one for maintaining physical fitness, the other for aesthetic and mental development. For example, a dance club and a chess club, a swimming section and an art studio, a music school and tennis.

All children are born talented – this is how nature works. That is why parents are often at a loss as to what exactly should their child do additionally. After all, it seems that he is capable of anything: draw, dance and sing, run fast and deftly catch a ball, compose poetry and improvise melodies.

Take your time, do not enroll the child in all circles and sections in a row. Because it is impossible to grasp the immensity and it may happen that the child’s talents will come to naught from the abundance of overloads, from a large number of tasks that, due to the lack of time, are difficult to complete.

Psychologists say: in order to grow, develop, a child needs to overcome a certain number of difficulties, but still goals must be achievable. And of course, in the life of a child there should be victories, small and large, which, in fact, feed talents.

Choose a circle and be happy

Communicate with the child, be interested in his desires. It is possible that he has already looked after some kind of occupation for himself. Perhaps he wants to go to the same circles and sections as his friends? It is worth listening to his requests – because it is always more comfortable to study in the company of familiar guys.

Your conversations with your child on the topic of circles and sections should be thorough enough to be sure whether his desires are deep or superficial. It is very important to understand how knowledgeable he is about this or that type of activity.

For example, your girl enthusiastically talks about her dreams of becoming a dancer. But in reality, she just loves spectacular concert outfits, and she does not even suspect that she will have to stand at the machine for months in a tracksuit. Or, for example, your boy persuades to enroll him in the hockey section, but at the same time imagines that he will immediately stand on the ice and start scoring goals.

Your task is to tell the child about what he is going to do, and best of all, to go to trial lessons or training with the child. So you will not allow the child to be disappointed and will pick up from the sea of proposals really those activities that he needs to feel happy.
