How to make cherry plum jam

1. Go through the cherry plum, suitable for jam: dense, not overripe, without rotting places.

2. Wash the cherry plum, remove the seeds, rinse with hot water.

3. Boil the syrup: pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and cook for 10 minutes over low heat after boiling.

4. Put the berries in the syrup, mix and cook for 5 minutes, removing the foam.

5. Cool the jam completely, return to the fire and cook for 10 minutes.

6. Repeat this procedure 3 more times.

Arrange the finished jam in hot sterilized jars, roll up, cool and store.

Cherry plum – 1 kilogram

Lime – 1 piece

Sugar – 1 kilogram

Water – half a glass

How to make lime and cherry plum jam

1. Wash 1 kg of cherry plum. Spread the fruits on a paper towel to dry slightly.

2. Cut the fruit into halves with a knife and take out the seeds.

3. Put the cherry plum halves in a deep saucepan and cover with 1 kilogram of sugar.

4. Cut the lime in half and cut into half rings. Put in a bowl and pour over half a glass of boiling water. After 10 minutes, add the lime pieces along with the water to the cherry plum saucepan. Stir, leave for 5 hours.

5. Bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.

6. After boiling, cook for 20 minutes, over very low heat.

Put the finished jam in jars, close the lids, put in a dark, dry place.
