1. Wash the camel meat and put in a saucepan.
2. Pour the camel meat with cool salted water and soak for 3-4 hours.
3. Drain the water, pour in fresh and cook the camel meat for 45 minutes.
How to cook gainatma with camel meat
Products
Camel meat – 0,5 kilograms
Potatoes – 2 medium sized tubers
Tomatoes – 2 pieces
Onions – 3 heads
Garlic – 1 Head
Azhgon (can be replaced with caraway seeds) – 2 tablespoons
Parsley – 2 sprigs of herbs
Parsley – 1 root
Ground red pepper – 0,3 teaspoon
Dried mint – 2 teaspoons
Saffron – 3 stamens
How to cook gainatma with camel meat
1. Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, put on fire, after boiling water, put the camel meat.
2. Add salt and cook the camel meat for 1,5 hours.
3. Finely chop the onion and add to the broth.
4. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalk, chop and put in the broth.
5. Peel the potatoes, chop coarsely and put in the broth, cook for another 30 minutes.
6. Add red pepper, saffron, crushed mint, stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
7. While the gainatma is cooked, peel and chop the garlic and add it to the gainatma.
8. Leave gainatma covered for 15 minutes and serve.
