What is the incubation period for the COVID-19 coronavirus?

The incubation period for the COVID-19 coronavirus is 14 days on average, however, there have been cases of developing the virus up to 24 days. The disease may be asymptomatic, mild or severe. The risk group includes mainly people who have comorbidities (asthma, ischemic heart disease or diabetes). Cancer patients as well as seniors should also be isolated as they have a weak immune system.
